My father, Charles West, served with the 2/320 in Vietnam. He was wounded in April 1967 outside Dak To province. He was in B btry...I used to know the names of all of the guns....boom boom, bat man, body count. I can't remember now. If there is anyone on here who served with dad, I'd love to hear from you! Thanks..... Chad West

Raymond P Greenier of Fayetteville, NC served C/2/320 1963/65 Passed away July 2013. Do any of you remember his rank??? He was 80 years old when he passed. Just talked to his wife and she gave me the sad news. She was not married to him at the time he served so does not know anyone.

I attended the reunion in Sept. '16. It was my first reunion and I really enjoyed it. My hope is that there will be more attending next year. I was a medic and was in Viet Nam 1970-1971. I was with the 2/320th from Dec.1970 thru June 1971. I would like to reconnect with guys I worked with over there. You can phone me at (989)878-1404.

Served with the 320th. Airborne Field Artillery following jump school at Fort Benning, Ga..Nov.51    I served with them for severl months as a radio operater for the Commanding Officer of Headquarters Co., then transferred over to the 508th. Airborne Infantry Regimental Combat team until around Nov. 52 as an Airborne rifleman whereas I volunteered for Korea Airborne.  Upon arriving in Korea there were no openings with the only Airborne Regiment,187th..ARCT who were stationed in Japan at the time, I was immediately sent to the front lines of Korea with the 32nd. Regt. of the 7th. Inf. Div. where I spent eight months and 20 days on the front lines of continuous combat with this outfit. Served as a rifleman and BAR man in combat, utilized on patrols, outpost, listening post postitions on many occasions, also during last months  of the war was part of the fierce fighting on Pork Chop Hill.  Rotated back stateside two weeks after the signing of the cease fire and attained the rank of Corporal.  Stateside I was assigned to the 505th of the 82nd.Airborne Division until discharged in June of 1954.  Many were killed in this "forgotten war" including many friends and especially a great buddie who I only knew for a short period of time but we bacame like brothers.  God Bless all our Troops!

LTC Halloran was a gracious host when we attended the reflag of the 2/320th.  We certainly enjoyed our visit to the 2/320th.  We were also sorry to see the politics of the reflag. As LTC Halloran signed off as Balls 6 and signed in as Proud American 6 at the ceremony, my heart sank.  It is likely that never again in our lifetime will we who served in the 2/320th hear of the Colors being unfurled. Thank you, Col Halloran, for your service to your country and to the 2/320th Field Artillery!

Airborne! Air Mobile! Air Assault! Glider!
